Our multiroom model allows a householder to set a subtly different but similar profile for a television set in a different room in his home - thus a parent will be able to set the sub-profile of the STB in his teenage child’s bedroom, indicating that it is a STB in a teenage child’s bedroom, and have a different sub-profile on the STB in the family’s living room, indicating that it is on a STB in the living room of the household with a specific socio-demographic profile. Different PBR advertisements can then be prioritised for the specific local multiroom installation e.g. Adverts and mobile phone vouchers for teenage fiction, computer games, local youth opportunities, apprenticeships and teenage health & lifestyle campaigns by government and local authority departments on the teenage child’s STB; and adverts and mobile phone vouchers for activities involving the entire family as it has been profiled on the household’s STB for the television set in the living room. |
